It hasn’t been the smoothest of launches for Capcom’s Street Fighter V. Releasing across PlayStation 4 and PC today, February 16, early adopters have been unable to access online multiplayer, or if they did, the experience was hampered by crippling server issues.
In a series of Tweets via the game’s official support Twitter, Series Producer has acknowledged the technical woes, before revealing that sever stability is now considered a priority for Capcom.
We are aware of the server issues that are affecting the online functionality of SFV, and are working towards a quick resolution.

It’s particularly disappointing for those who have kept tabs on Capcom’s brawler sequel during development, considering that recent beta tests were subject to similar connection problems.
At the time of writing, the Japanese giant noted that servers are up, but cautioned that players should expect “intermittent disconnects” as developers work on a permeant fix. It’s believed that the outage was caused by heavy launch demand.
