Activision and Sledgehammer Games have announced that the second DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Ascendance, will launch on March 31. The DLC will carry a cost of $15 and is a timed exclusive on the Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Similar to the previously released Havoc pack, Ascendance will include four new multiplayer maps: Perplex, Site 244, Climate, and Chop Shop. The DLC will also include a new weapon in the form of the OHM directed energy machine gun/shotgun hybrid, the OHM Werewolf custom variant, and the Exo Grapple ability playlist, which brings the Exo Grapple to multiplayer.
Ascendance will additionally continue the Exo Zombies saga that began in the previous DLC release. Once again, John Malkovich, Rose McGowan, Jon Bernthal, and Bill Paxton are all returning for some more zombie-killing action. This chapter will feature several new traps and armaments, as well as bringing the action to local fast food restaurant, Burgertown.
Call of Duty fans can get their first look at Ascendance during the 2015 Call of Duty Championship, which will take place on March 29. Gamers can look forward to catching a glimpse at the new maps, as well as the latest Exo Zombies chapter, through Xbox Live and other select broadcast channels.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will receive Ascendance on Xbox One and Xbox 360 beginning March 31. We will be sure to update you on when the DLC will launch on additional consoles, so stay tuned!
