Man-made Pokemon Magiana has been revealed In Japanese magazine CoroCoro; the new ‘Mon is to be the star of new movie Volcanion and the Exquisite Magiana.
The images, obtained by Serebii.net after a bit of digging, have fully revealed the new creature’s appearance and backstory. Completely artificial, Magiana was created 500 years ago by the hands of man, and is formed out of an entirely metallic substance, perhaps providing an explanation for why it looks like a combination of various existing critters.
What do we mean by that? Well for starters, the shape of Magiana’s head looks almost identical to existing Pokemon Klink (introduced in Black & White), and its overall body shape bears more than a passing resemblance to Mythical Pokemon Diancie. Could this be Mankind’s attempt to artificially replicate it?
Who knows; it’s all just speculation at this point. However, Magiana seems to have some sort of connection with Volcanion if the title of the newest film in the series is anything to go by, but the most exciting outcome of the announcement is the potential existence of a new Generation.
We’ve seen brand new Pocket Monsters be introduced in the series’ anime or films before, to generate hype for a new set of games, so they very well could be on the way. The most recent duo of Pokemon games – Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire – were released in 2014, so we’re certainly due for a new set in the near future.
We’ll keep you posted on any future developments, so stay tuned!
