Borderlands 2 Receives Its Mechromancer Class A Week Early

In an interesting turn of events, Gearbox Software has decided to drop its fifth Borderlands 2 class one week early. Originally scheduled to become available on October 16th, the female Mechromancer is expected to be released onto Xbox 360 and PC sometime today. Conversely, the PlayStation 3 version of the downloadable add-on may have to wait until the PlayStation Store's Wednesday update.

Those who pre-ordered the game should receive the Mechromancer class for free, while others will have to fork over ten real world dollars or 800 Microsoft Points.
