It looks as though The Caped Crusader won’t be fighting alone in Rocksteady’s hotly-anticipated Batman: Arkham Knight, after a new gameplay trailer introduces players to the likes of Catwoman, Nightwing and Robin.
Though the footage above seems to indicate that the sequel will incorporate some form of co-operative play, the studio has billed the new-fangled feature as Dual Play, allowing users to take advantage of the game’s “free-flow combat” and switch between the aforementioned personas during certain gameplay segments. This back-and-forth won’t be limited to Arkham Knight‘s challenge rooms, either.
Speaking of controlling different characters, Rocksteady announced a little while ago that those who pre-order the threequel ahead of time will gain access to the Harley Quinn DLC. Taking place prior to the events of the core campaign, the add-on will be situated in the Blüdhaven Police Department, with Miss. Quinzel running riot – after all, what else would you expect?
As the launch date creeps ever close, the developer also outlined the PC requirements for Batman: Arkham Knight, dividing the specifications into three categories: minimum, required and the heft ultra settings. Whatever way your rig measures up, it’s understood that the game will demand 45GB of hard drive space at minimum.
Rocksteady will close out its critically-adorned series when Batman: Arkham Knight swoops onto PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 23.
