Is Activision getting ready for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2? They just may be.
The gaming giant recently purchased the domain name BlackOps2.com, according to Fusible. Now, while Activision did purchase Black Ops domains up to number six last year, number two was left off the list. Today though it seems as if the publisher has acquired the domain and may very well be gearing up for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2?
It does make sense, seeing as Call Of Duty: Black Ops had a record-breaking debut of $650 million in sales during its first week. It also received extremely positive reviews and pleased just about everyone. That being said, this is in no way confirmed.
Personally, this news really doesn’t do much for me. Another Call Of Duty, so what? That’s how I feel about the series at this point. After playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, I realized that the series just doesn’t do much for me anymore.
Each iteration is more or less the same and really, I’m getting sick of it. The games really don’t differ that much from year to year and as I said before, I’m not terribly excited to play another version.
Yes, they are well made but it’s just the same thing year after year and frankly, I find the games to be pretty boring at this stage.
