The folks from 505 Games have released a fact sheet for their upcoming Vita release, Supremacy MMA: Unrestricted. Expected to release sometime in the first fiscal quarter of 2012, it will bring brutal mixed martial arts fighting to the palm of your hands.
Based on the information detailed below, Unrestricted will be a bit different from its console brother. Exclusive locations and fighters will be available, however the biggest change will come with the addition of touch-based options. Players can choose whether to use those or a standard button scheme, with the ability to also use the device’s camera to personalize their fights. Online play will also be available.
According to one of the game’s PR representatives, Gregory Hutto, this release will be “subject to the full upgrade treatment.” What that means is that it’ll move faster, and will pack a stronger punch that the last franchise release.
