Blade is another one of those titles that most of us owned on PlayStation and completely forgot it existed. While it’s far from being an excellent or incredible game, it certainly had its moments. Chances are if you enjoyed the brooding film it’s based on, you would’ve loved this adaptation, too.

Oddly enough, the game was similar in many ways to the third-person shooter part of Die Hard Trilogy, released four years earlier and hardly anyone picked up on it. That’s not a criticism, by the way, because that’s still one of my all-time favorite titles on PS1. With all the weapons and Blade’s famous sword at your disposal, you had more than enough ammunition to go giddy and slaughter Edward Cullen’s brethren till your heart’s content.
