5 Artists Bound To Debut Unreleased Tracks At Digital Dreams

If you hit a lot of festivals each year, Digital Dreams probably won't expose you to many artists you haven't already seen. Don't get us wrong, it's a quality massive - arguably even the biggest one in Canada - but with how much the biggest names on the bill have already bounced around the country so far this summer, experienced festivalgoers will be hard pressed to catch a set from an artist that's new to them.

2) Flux Pavilion

We were as surprised as anyone to hear that Flux Pavilion would finally be releasing his debut album. Forgive us for being pessimists, but we kind of felt like his time had come and gone. Even though he’d been a fixture of the bygone EDM era that was dubstep, however, he promises a record that “won’t strictly sound like you’d expect.” For all we know, what Flux Pavilion’s got on the back burner could be something game changing, so his set this weekend will not be one to miss.

1) Armin Van Buuren

Out of all of the albums Digital Dreams headliners have got in the works right now, it’s safe to say that Armin Van Buuren’s will be the most highly anticipated. The A State of Trance founder has been voted the DJ Mag #1 for a record of five times (four in a row), and has achieved a level of international stardom reserved for only the highest tier of performers.

He recently told Billboard that he had a new album on the way, and that instead of trying to follow up the monumental success that was Intense, he’s attempted to simply spend time in the studio and create music naturally. Anybody even remotely interested in hearing the fruits of his labor should make sure to catch his set at Digital Dreams, as he’s sure to send a groundbreaking ID or two into orbit.
