Aire Webster had entered the chat. Kylie Jenner and her now-ex Travis Scott announced back in January that they would be changing their one-year-old’s name from Wolf Jacques Webster to Aire Webster, and the change was made official this month.
As People reports, the 25-year-old socialite and businesswoman filed to have her son’s name changed on June 22.
Aire, née Wolf, was born on February 2, 2022. Kylie and Travis also share another child, five-year-old Stormi Webster, born February 1, 2018. After several attempts to rekindle their romance, Jenner and Scott officially split in January 2023.
Following the initial announcement that Aire would be changing his name from Wolf, Jenner addressed the decision via Instagram:
“FYI our sons name isn’t Wolf anymore. We just really didn’t feel like it was him,” she posted on her Instagram story on March 21. “Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”
Jenner noted that she felt pressured at the hospital to choose a name, so when her sister Khloe Kardashian suggested Wolf Webster, she liked the alliteration and it stuck. She later admitted that the name didn’t suit him or his personality, so she elected to have it changed.
On February 2, 2023, Jenner celebrated Aire’s first birthday on social media, writing “AIRE. my son, my moon, my stars. best year of my life with you. you complete us my angel. mommy loves you. happy 1st birthday. may God always bless you.”
Right now, the makeup mogul continues to promote her brand, Kylie Cosmetics, which largely markets lipsticks but also produces skin care products and baby products.
