Renowned horror master Stephen King is once again here to express his hot takes in regards to American politics. If you’ve been keeping track of the author’s online history when the topic of politics is discussed, then you have a pretty good understanding about his thoughts and beliefs when it comes to the line drawn between Republicans and Democrats. This time around, the Carrie novelist decided to boast about Joe Biden and his involvement in a recent outing.

Over on his official Twitter account, the 75-year-old author took time out of his day to offer praise for Biden after the 46th President of the United States made a surprise visit to Ukraine. In his own words, King stated that Biden has “a yard of goats” for stepping foot on soil that is sure to enrage Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

Despite King’s praise for Biden’s courage, the true meat and potatoes of the tweet is the first half, which points at criticism towards Biden from a strong majority of the American people — with his most recent approval rating in high numbers. Nevertheless, President Biden decided to stare fear in the face by visiting Ukraine amidst an intense and heart-wrenching war with Russia.

What’s more impressive is that Biden’s visit happened just days before the one-year anniversary of the aforementioned war. And while alarm sirens were airing with Biden firmly in the country, King took the opportunity to praise the moment as something that is to be honored.
