While Everything Everywhere All at Once recently cleaned up at the Academy Awards, its Oscar winnings did not impress Ben Shapiro. The conservative commentator who first found success as a teenager and is still as annoying took time away from making poor movies with Gina Carano to give his thoughts on the project on Twitter and many are mocking his film analysis.
After posting the above, one respondent writes they are sorry a good movie confused him. As well, people are still watching work like Gladiator, Titanic, Forrest Gump, and The Departed today. Another Twitter user defies his assertion that the runtime is too long and a pair of different critics say, as Shapiro enjoyed Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, he should not blast work as overlong and confusing.
In the quote tweets, the discourse remains the same. Several add Shapiro — whose mother was a television executive and whose father has worked professionally as a composer — has the media comprehension of a rock. Another jokes his movies produced for his Daily Wire media company do not have any awards, and, for another, his remarks are like a D-list team dinging the icons.
Shapiro does not appear to have responded to those mocking him as of this story’s filing. Though, if he can’t take witty retorts from comedians like Patton Oswalt, there is not much hope for the man being chastened by people who loathe his latest movie musings. None of the cast or crew involved with the project has responded to Shapiro yet either, but, it is also likely they do not care at all.
