It’s been a while since we’ve heard from our favorite incorrect-take spouting and Stephen King punching bag Kevin Sorbo, but not to worry, dear readers, he’s back sticking his meaty head into another thing he seems to not understand – the ongoing writers strike.
Perhaps he’s upset because a fellow ’90’s star, Fran Drescher, is all over the news with her stunning and moving speech against Hollywood greed and selfishness. Drescher was the star of the hit show The Nanny and Sorbo was, of course, Hercules, but Drescher is hot again while Sorbo is.. apparently really bitter.
Sorbo commented on a news of Drescher talking about “being victimized by a very greedy entity” and suffering while companies give “millions of dollars to their CEOs.” His response?
“I make better movies independently.” What an arrogant, misguided and boneheaded thing to say. First of all, there’s more desire for cholera to return than for Sorbo to appear in a movie. Look, maybe I’m wrong. Maybe I Can’t Breathe (God Forgive Them), about white cops killing a white guy who comes back to life and “relies on his faith” is actually as good as say, Oppenheimer.
Sorbo doesn’t need Hollywood! He’s better than that, can’t you see? Forget the fact that literally no one is calling Sorbo to do anything in Hollywood, but that’s another argument. Bitter Sorbo would fail an IQ test, so how can we expect him to hide his obvious disdain toward everything he doesn’t believe in? How Christian of him.
Can’t wait to hear what he says next! You know we’ll keep you posted.
