Porscha Coleman has become the latest figure to reassure us all that Jamie Foxx is doing perfectly fine after encountering a health scare back in April, as though last month’s update shared by Corinne Foxx, the comedian’s daughter, wasn’t thorough enough.

The actress, who starred alongside Foxx in the Netflix comedy series Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!, recently spoke to ET Online regarding the comedian’s medical condition, and it’s about what you’d expect at this point; according to sources close to the comedian whom Coleman claimed to be in contact with, he’s doing well, and everyone’s annoyed with the fictitious claims from some media outlets regarding the involvement of the COVID-19 vaccine in Foxx’s hospitalization.

The actress further mused on the lack of health updates from Foxx himself, noting that it’s not uncommon for the comedian to keep his personal life out of the spotlight.

One thing about Jamie is that he’s always valued his privacy. If you’ve noticed, Jamie Foxx has always been on the low. Even when it came to dating, Jamie’s always been private, so it never surprised me.

Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!, the aforementioned site of Foxx and Coleman’s creative intersection, was a Netflix sitcom created by the comedian, who also starred as the lead character Brian Dixon, a single father and business man whose daughter, Sasha, moves in with him after the death of her mother. Coleman portrayed Chelsea, Brian’s sister. Its first season released on April, 14, 2021, consisting of eight episodes, and was canceled by Netflix on June 18 of that same year.

Foxx may be recovering at the moment, but fans of the actor’s work won’t have to wait long to see him again; Foxx is set to co-star with Teyonah Parris and John Boyega in the upcoming Netflix sci-fi film They Cloned Tyrone, which is due to release on July 21.
