On the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim shared some life-changing news with her family. The entrepreneur announced to her mom and sisters that she will appear as the next Bachelorette on the hit ABC show.
Fans first heard the news through a teaser for this week’s episode, which was shared across social media. Kim’s family reacted in total disbelief, saying, “Kim, 100 percent, you’re not doing it,” a sentiment which was echoed by fans.
“There’s no way it’s happening,” @BadBoyKelani on Twitter commented. Bachelorette host Jesse Palmer, however, seems to be all for it, saying, “I was BORN ready.”
In the full episode, Kim is so insistent that she’s doing the show, she encourages her mom to call Disney Vice President Rob Mills who confirms the project, even saying that it is, “90 percent of the way there.” It’s only after the convincing phone call that Kim reveals that she’s just kidding and definitely won’t be appearing on the show anytime soon.
“These kids love a good prank, and I’m always the victim of the prank,” Kris responds to the camera, sharing that she still never sees them coming.
If fans were hopeful that Kim may appear on The Bachelorette, for now, they’ll just have to stick with her very convincing and hilarious dating show-themed SNL skit. That may be as close as she ever gets.
