Johnny Depp hasn’t been seen in Hollywood for a while, ever since the infamous trial involving him and former wife, Amber Heard, the actor seems to have turned his back on Hollywood. However, those who have been following the actor a little more closely will know that he’s still with us, he’s just doing his own thing. The actor is currently touring Europe with the rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires which he formed with rock legends Alice Cooper and Joe Perry.
But recently the actor and musician has had to reschedule three shows that has caused some concern amongst his fans. Some have automatically assumed the worst, worrying that Depp is sick.
So what is actually wrong with Johnny Depp?
Worry not, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor is fine. It turns out that he just had a fractured ankle, which has been the reason for his re-scheduled shows recently. The actor went into more detail regarding his injury via his Instagram story at the end of last month.
“My dear friends, I am sorry to say that I have fractured my ankle, which is a drag. […] several medical professionals have strongly suggested I avoid any and all activity for the moment and so am sadly unable to travel at this time.”
After a week of recovery Depp performed with the Hollywood Vampires once again and his fellow bandmate, Alice Cooper, was even able to get the fans to sing happy birthday to the star as the clock struck midnight. It’s safe to say that he’s doing better now considering he is able to perform, and for all of you who were worried you can breathe a sigh of relief as he is most definitely not sick.
