There’s been a fair bit of buzz going around tonight about a high-profile celebrity who made an appearance in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York getting indicted by a grand jury in New York for paying an adult film star a large sum of hush money to cover up an affair, which was written off as a legal expense for their presidential campaign.

That celebrity, is of course none other than Donald Trump – and the internet at large is absolutely shocked and appalled that Trump, who played a lovely man who gave Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) directions to a hotel lobby, was capable of such a serious crime.

Jesting aside, the Home Alone 2 star and celebrity real estate mogul turned U.S. President is now formally indicted in the state of New York for the hush money scandal involving Stormy Daniels, who upon hearing of the news, took to Twitter to express gratitude to the justice system finally holding Trump accountable for his actions.

In standard-fare Trump nature, following the verdict, the former President issued a statement on Truth Social which attempts to shift the narrative to electoral interference by the Democrats, all the while maintaining that he is innocent. Horror author Stephen King had a few choice words to say about that, doing his best to keep his followers and fanbase on the straight and narrow.

The Stormy Daniels fiasco is just one of various legal issues that Donald Trump is facing ahead of his 2024 run for presidency – he also needs to answer for his involvement in the Jan. 6 insurrection, alleged voting interference in Georgia, and mishandling of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate.
