With a long list of celebrity friends, not to mention his status as an A-list superstar, Dwayne Johnson is in the enviable position of being able to collaborate with pretty much anybody he wants whenever he wants on whatever he wants. At least, within reason.
After all, it’s difficult to imagine Martin Scorsese or Paul Thomas Anderson going out of their way to cast The Rock in their next project regardless of whether or not he was lobbying for a role, but Rihanna? You could easily imagine the returning Fast & Furious veteran partnering up with the singer and entrepreneur in some way.
As fate would have it, Johnson has exactly the idea in mind after YouTube’s official Twitter handle started throwing out suggestions for videos born from two celebrities being named together in a tweet. Somebody suggested the actor/producer and the beauty mogul put their minds together and combine pumping iron with makeup, and the 51 year-old was entirely supportive of the idea.
No stranger to being given a makeover by his young daughters, you’d imagine Rihanna’s Fenty brand would do a much more professional job in beautifying Johnson. Then again, trying to develop products that are immune to the rigorous workout regimen that’s turned him into a ridiculously jacked physical specimen could prove to be quite the challenge, although you suspect Rihanna’s brain trust would be more than capable of providing such a thing.
Either way, we’ll just have to wait and see if it comes to fruition, but being supported by the man himself is an excellent way to start the ball rolling.
