Tom Cruise is one of the best actors in Hollywood, and with a career of his magnitude, it may sometimes be complicated to find time for family life. Somehow, the actor seems to manage, having been married three times.
When they see Cruise frequently risk his life performing stunts for the Mission: Impossible movies, though, some find it hard to believe that any children have come from those marriages. What sane family man would put himself in dangerous situations, at the risk of leaving his children behind? As it turns out, Cruise’s dedication to his career in no way outshines his commitment to safety. This should come as a reassurance to all his fans, but mostly his family; because, yes, he does have children.
How many children does Tom Cruise have?
The actor has three children, two of which he adopted with Nicole Kidman, his wife at the time. Their names are Isabella Jane and Connor Antony, born in 1992 and 1995, respectively. After Cruise’s divorce from Kidman, he tied the knot for the third time in November 2006, with Katie Holmes, seven months after the birth of their first and only child together, Suri.
Unlike her half-siblings, Suri was raised away from Scientology, as Holmes opted for divorcing Cruise in order to keep their daughter away from the religion, according to reports. Now a teenager, it’s unclear whether or not Suri maintains a relationship with her father, contrary to Connor and Isabella, who seem to be on good terms with Cruise.
Little else is known about Cruise’s children’s private life, but at least now you know that they exist. Is it that big of a surprise?
