Ever since it was announced that 17 year-old Xochitl Gomez was going to be cast as hero America Chavez in Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the actress has ensured that she is out front for every MCU premiere, from Spider-Man: No Way Home to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
And as is the way for Twitter in the dumpster fire decade of the 2020s, people have taken notice that she was occupying her usual spot on the red carpet for the elaborately-titled Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania. And at the Ant-Man premiere, she didn’t come to play:
Seband’r wasted no time looking for Gomez on the red carpet:
While Xavi Serrano was worried when they didn’t spot Gomez immediately:
This MCU Stan account has been calling roll and taking notes:
And New Yorker Alida had fun doing an impression of Gomez on the subway:
As Marvel’s Phase Five unfolds, some fans will be looking to see how Kang brings a new crop of superheroes together. At the same time, others will be looking to see how the films bring a new crop of Xochitl Gomez outfits together.
