Anchor Bay has announced the cop drama The Son of No One, starring Channing Tatum, Al Pacino, Ray Liotta, Katie Holmes and Tracy Morgan, for Blu-Ray later this month.
The Son of No One had a limited release last year, but didn’t really pick up any steam. The film was criticized for a messy script, despite its top-notch cast. I never had a chance to see the film but I do think it looks good.
Channing Tatum is an actor that most dislike, but I think the man has talent. He showed it in The Eagle and the recent Haywire, but for every good film he does he manages to do 3 or 4 bad ones. At least he’s taking on more dramatic roles though.
The Blu-Ray will be available in a Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack and a Blu-Ray only pack, both will come with a 1080p video transfer and a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio track. Here’s a list of the confirmed bonus features.
- Audio Commentary with writer/producer/director Dito Montiel and editor/executive producer Jake Pushinsk
- Deleted Scenes
The Son of No One will be released on February 21st, 2012.
