Paramount Pictures will be bringing the latest shelved Eddie Murphy film, A Thousand Words, to Blu-Ray in June.
Eddie Murphy hasn’t had the best of luck at the box office recently and his latest film, A Thousand Words isn’t going to change that. Apparently the film was finished a few years ago and Paramount has just now decided to throw it into theaters (shortly) and on Blu-Ray home video.
It didn’t do too well financially and I have yet to meet someone that liked the film.
Our very own Kristal Cooper had this to say about the film in her review:
A thousand words? Try two words: stay away. Murphy does a pretty good job keeping up with the various indignities heaped on him but the movie as a whole ends up sinking.
The Blu-Ray/UltraViolet combo pack will be presented in 1080p with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. The following special features have been confirmed:
- Deleted Scenes
- Alternate Ending
A Thousand Words will be available for purchase on June 26th, 2012.
