Welcome to We Got This Covered’s Deals of the Day. In this brand new column, we’ll be scouring the web in order to bring you hot deals on Blu-Rays and video games. Today, we’ve found two Blu-Rays that are selling for an extremely reasonable price, check them out below.
1) Sin City
First up we have Sin City, Robert Rodriguez’ excellent film based off the Frank Miller graphic novel. With the sequel already in production, now’s a great time to pick up the original, which is selling for $4.99, a 75% off discount. And just in case you’re a real Sin City nut, you should know that the Blu-Ray includes the Theatrical and the Recut, Extended, and Unrated Version of the film, offering you two ways to view this exhilarating crime thriller.

Slick, stylish and very well acted, Sin City is such a great film, for a number of reasons. It’s a complete thrill ride that so perfectly captures Miller’s celebrated graphic novel. In all respects it’s a stunning achievement and for $4.99 you better have a damn good reason not to pick it up on Blu-Ray.
2) The Spirit
Another film based on a Frank Miller novel, The Spirit didn’t do as well as Sin City. It didn’t seem to gel with critics and audiences didn’t care for it much either. That being said, it’s got a solid cast (Gabriel Macht, Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Mendes, Scarlett Johansson), the gorgeous visual style was as impressive as Sin City and the pulpy story powering it was interesting enough. Sure, the characters were pretty thin and the film felt pretty hollow but still, I had fun with it.

The Blu-Ray is selling for 54% off this week, making it only $6.97, another fantastic price that is too good to miss out on. If you’re a Frank Miller fan, or are just looking for something similar to, though not quite as impressive as Sin City, pick this one up.
