‘Who Made Me A Princess’ anime trailer brings the fan-favorite WebToon to life in gorgeous fashion

We are eager to see what adventures await Athanasia in season 2.

Twitter’s anime community flew into a frenzy when the trailer for the Who Made Me a Princess‘s Donghua (Chinese animation) adaptation was released. Who Made Me a Princess is one of the most popular Korean webtoons right now, so the fanfare is to be expected. Based on Pluto’s web novel of the same name, the first season of the popular series illustrated by Spoon premiered on Ridibooks on Dec. 20, 2017, and comprised 46 episodes. The show’s second season premiered on July 10, 2019, and will feature 35 episodes, with the third season of the webtoon airing on Nov. 30, 2020.

​​According to Fandom, “Who Made Me a Princess follows the journey of Athanasia de Alger Obelia, a South Korean girl who reincarnated into the fictional story, The Lovely Princess, as the abandoned princess of the Obelian Empire. In the story, Athanasia was mercilessly executed by her ruthless father, Emperor Claude de Alger Obelia, falsely accused of poisoning the beloved princess, Jennette Margarita. To avoid that cruel fate, Athanasia decides she must build a relationship based on affection between herself and her new father to survive.”
