The first part of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War came to an end in December 2022, and as any fan will tell you, it wasn’t nearly enough to adapt the series’ most anticipated arc. In the latest episode, “The Blade is Me,” Ichigo is finally able to access his Zanpakuto’s ultimate and true form, which will undoubtedly be useful for what comes next. And while the “what” is important, the “when” seems to be a much more pressing matter among fans.
Before the anime even began airing, the audience was informed that this installment in the Bleach franchise would be split into four parts. However, the official premiere dates for each of these cours were kept a mystery. To be clear, not much has changed since then; we remain almost as clueless as we did at the time, with Viz Media still holding onto details regarding the third and fourth parts. At long last, though, the exact release date for part two has been confirmed.

Viz Media announced on its social media accounts that new episodes of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be released starting on July 8. The upcoming cour will be titled The Separation, and in it, fans will get to meet Yhwach’s successor (although, this won’t be a completely new face).

As usual, viewers residing in Japan will be the first to set their eyes on the next batch of episodes, since they will all be broadcast on TV Tokyo. Global fans, though, will have to wait for them to land on streaming platforms.
As was the case with part one, The Separation will not land on good old Crunchyroll, but U.S.-based fans will still be able to watch the episodes on Hulu, provided they have a subscription to the platform, of course. If you don’t, you can get a 30-day free trial, but that won’t be enough to watch all of part two as it airs. After, fans can subscribe to one of Hulu’s monthly plans, with the cheapest being $7.99/month.
As for the rest of the world, episodes will be available for streaming on Disney Plus. Subscription prices for this service start at $7.99 per month, and at the time of writing, there is no free trial option available.
All the episodes will be translated into at least six languages, and fortunately, they never take too long to hit streaming services with subtitles. Armed with all the information available, fans can now start preparations to witness the very last arc of Bleach.
