I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too is one of the newest popular isekai series to receive an anime adaptation. Based on Miku and Rein Kuwashima’s light novel series of the same name, this anime will tell the story of Yuya Tenjo, a boy ostracized by his peers and family members. The only person in Yuya’s life who truly cares for him is his grandfather who leaves the protagonist his home before passing away. After moving into the house, Yuya comes across a portal to another world in which he can obtain new abilities and get stronger by defeating monsters, much like what happens in a video game. Following this discovery, the protagonist goes back and forth between two worlds, putting his new skills to use in both.
When the manga’s success translated into an anime announcement in August 2022, fans were ecstatic, and only six months later, the series’ first season is ready to hit the screen. I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World is officially scheduled for an April 6 release both in its home country and internationally. The only question remaining is how fans will be able to set their sights on it.
Where to watch I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World?
Crunchyroll has licensed the anime adaptation for distribution, which means the first season of I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World will be made available for streaming on the platform. It has also been confirmed that, following an initial debut with subtitles only, a dubbed version of the anime will also be released at some point in the future.
I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World is only one of the many series gracing us this spring anime season, with even more isekai content awaiting its debut.
