Drive Wins Big At The 16th Annual Satellite Awards

Drive was the major winner at The International Press Academy's 16th Annual Satellite Awards, taking home Best Director for Nicolas Winding Refn, as well as Best Leading and Supporting Actor for Ryan Gosling and Albert Brooks, respectively, as well as Best Sound Editing.

Drive was the major winner at The International Press Academy’s 16th Annual Satellite Awards, taking home Best Director for Nicolas Winding Refn, as well as Best Leading and Supporting Actor for Ryan Gosling and Albert Brooks, respectively, as well as Best Sound Editing.

Other Big winners were The Descendants, which scored Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay. The Tree Of Life won Best Original Screenplay and scored Jessica Chastain, who seems to be the only constant so far this awards season, yet another Best Supporting Actress award. Chastain’s The Help co-star Viloa Davis walked away with the Best Actress Award.

Best Documentary-  Senna

Best Score – Soul Surfer

Best Song – Lay Down Your Head

Best Cinematography – War Horse

Best Visual Effects – Hugo

Best Film Editing – The Guard

Best Art and Production Design – The Artist

Best Costume Design – Water for Elephants
