Six brand new stills for The Hunger Games have surfaced online, featuring most of the main cast and even director Gary Ross in a behind-the-scenes shot. This is a serious chunk of images for the film and mixed with the recent trailer and a ton of character posters, it only heightens my excitement.
The pictures include: Effie (Elizabeth Banks) and Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) at the reaping, a cryptic shot of Katniss probably entering the Games, an image of Cinna (Lenny Kravitz), Haymitch (Woody Harrelson), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) perhaps preparing for the Games, Katniss and Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and a still of Rue (Amandla Stenberg).
The most intriguing picture here might be the image of Cinna, Haymitch and Peeta, because the three of them hardly got any screen-time in the official trailer.
Each promotional event for this movie is slowly making me crazy with anticipation. The Hunger Games hits theaters on March 23, but in the meantime, I suppose these images will have to do.
