Marvel Studios Reveals Official Logo For The Infinity Saga At Comic-Con

Marvel has unveiled something HUGE at the 2019 SDCC. Something other than the first deaf hero, a female Thor and the first LGBTQ hero. After eleven years, 23 movies and many, many comic-cons, we finally get to see the official MCU logo for The Infinity Saga. The timing, of course, couldn't be more perfect, as to reveal such a thing before 2008's Iron Man hit theaters would have spoiled over a decade of superhero films.

Marvel chose to kick off their Hall H extravaganza in their usual epic fashion, as they gave the audience this little surprise, commemorating the last decade of moviemaking magic. Of course, the party was just getting underway, as the next few hours would have some pretty insane revelations. A Wesley Snipes-less Blade and Fantastic Four getting the reboot treatment were just two of the internet-breaking reveals, but down below, you can feast your eyes on that aforementioned logo:

The Infinity Saga, as you know, started in a cave with Tony Stark and took us through multiple Avengers movies. The saga, along with Captain America and Iron Man, came to an end in Avengers: Endgame. The most recent release, Spider-Man: Far From Home also brought a conclusion to Marvel’s Phase 3.

Whatever Phase 4 and 5 have to offer, it’ll be without Chris Evans and RDJ’s beloved heroes. It won’t, however, be without someone taking up their mantles. The closing moments of Endgame saw the return of Ty Simpkins from Iron Man 3, who might just be the future Iron Lad. And, of course, we also got to see Anthony Mackie’s Falcon take up Cap’s shield.

Phase 4 kicks off on May 1st, 2020 with Black Widow, the first official solo outing for ScarJo’s now-deceased master assassin. And after hearing about everything that the studio announced at Comic-Con this past weekend, it’s looking like the next chapter of the franchise will be just as exciting as the MCU‘s Infinity Saga.
