Though the content has yet to make its way online, ComicBook.com’s Brandon Davis was present to report on what was shown. Apparently, the footage revisits the flashbacks of Nat’s childhood from Avengers: Age of Ultron, before cutting to scenes from The Avengers and Captain America: Civil War. Meanwhile, through voiceover, Black Widow reflects on her superhero family, mistakes she’s made, and her betrayal of Tony Stark in Civil War.

After a mandatory appearance from the Marvel Studios logo, the footage cuts to Budapest, where our heroine climbs a spiral staircase and enters a room with a gun. “I know you know I’m out here,” she says. “Wanna talk like grown ups?” As we soon find out, she’s talking to Florence Pugh’s character Yelena Belova. The two assassins aim their guns at each other, while Yelena backs into the kitchen.

The pair then engage in some hand-to-hand combat that leaves the room in ruins. Nat attempts to hold Yelena down and gag her with a towel, only to get tossed over. Cabinets are demolished and a knife is pulled out, while a score reminiscent of Bucky’s theme in Captain America: The Winter Soldier plays in the background.

Nat and Yelena’s “magnificent” fight continues into the living room, where the pair try to choke each other with a curtain. After Nat calls Yelena “sis,” the two of them have a drink. From here, we launch into a montage featuring a motorcycle chase, gun fights, running through the streets and someone jumping through a window. We also get a callback to Black Widow’s “red in my ledger line,” as well as our first footage of the villainous Taskmaster, who sports a mask and a shield with a logo on it. After the film’s logo plays, the heroine engages in a fight with her new foe on a bridge, where the two are said to move very similarly.

So, that’s what fans at SDCC apparently witnessed, and it’s surely only a matter of time until the rest of us can see the footage for ourselves. Regardless, we still have a good few months to wait before Black Widow hits theaters on May 1st, 2020.
