Spider-Man: Far From Home’s Mid And Post-Credits Scenes Revealed

After 21 movies, MCU fans know full well at this stage to stay for the credits to catch not only the usual mid-credits sequence but also the additional scene that comes right at the end. Sure, Avengers: Endgame might've bucked the trend, as it didn't feature anything once the movie was done, but make sure you don't leave early when you sit down to watch Spider-Man: Far From Home in theaters, as there'll be two surprises waiting for fans once the film comes to a close.

Again, this is pretty standard for the MCU, and though there’s no telling exactly what awaits us after Far From Home is over and Phase 4 begins, we do know what you’ll see should you stick around for the credits, and thankfully, it’ll be more than just that clanking sound which we got at the end of Endgame.

Over on Reddit, descriptions for both the mid and post-credits scenes have leaked, and given that multiple people are reporting the same thing, it seems as if the intel is legit. As usual, the mid-credits one will lay the seeds for a future storyline to come in the MCU, while the post-credits sequence is more of a fun one, and it’ll surely have fans going wild. But before we proceed, do note that spoilers will follow from here on out. You’ve been warned.

Still with us? Good, because we’re ready to dive right in. The mid-credits scene will apparently reveal that Nick Fury and Maria Hill have actually been Skrulls this whole time. Not for their entire existence in the MCU, but just throughout Far From Home. Don’t worry, though, as the Skrulls are still good guys. Apparently, they’re just helping the two S.H.I.E.L.D. agents out and providing some cover for them back on Earth while Fury and Hill are busy with something in space. It’s unclear what that may be, but we imagine we’ll learn more in Phase 4.

As for the post-credits scene, well, that’s where the fun truly begins. Apparently, the sequence will bring back none other than J. Jonah Jameson and get this, he’ll be played once more by J.K. Simmons, who portrayed the character in the original Spider-Man trilogy from Sam Raimi.

It’s unclear if this is just to give fans a nice little surprise or if Jameson is now going to feature prominently in future MCU films, but we imagine people will get a real kick out of seeing him on screen again. From what we understand, it’s just a short little scene where he’s bad-mouthing Spidey, but it should be more than enough to send fans into a frenzy when Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into theaters next month.
