Twitch streamer Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek claims he’s privy to information about the next hero to be added to the game. In a recent stream, he dropped some major hints that it will, in fact, be Wattson, pretty much confirming the leaks from a recent data-mine of the battle royale hit that told us the electrically-charged character will be added to the roster alongside Octane, Gibraltar and Caustic.

According to Shroud, Wattson – if that’s indeed who it is – will be less like Octane and more like the other two, with Respawn presenting her as a “situational” character. He let Legends fans know his slightly bleak take on the possible new inclusion, too, saying:

“All I can tell you about the next legend is that it’s not going to be that sick. It’s going to be cool, but it’s not going to be that sick – that’s all.”

Octane’s addition to the game has been a pretty big hit among fans and they’re going to be a little disappointed if they want more of the same. A little change never hurt anyone, though, right? Unless of course you’re one of the 770,000 aforementioned cheaters who Respawn recently banned from the game. They probably didn’t like that change one bit.

Circling back to Shroud though, and one fan pressed the former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive pro a little further. They asked him if the next Legend would be “electric,” and the streamer, like anyone would when they don’t want to bite the hand that feeds them, answered appropriately:

“What are you trying to say, man? What are are trying to get me to say here?”

As we mentioned above, Season 2 of Apex Legends is thought to be kicking off next month, so with any luck, it’ll only be another week or so now before Respawn decides to officially reveal what’s coming down the pipeline.
