New casting announcements for the new James Bond film have been announced. Helen McCrory, who is best know for her role as Narcissa Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, has joined the cast of Bond 23 in an undisclosed role.
Next, we have confirmation that Bérénice Marlohe and Ben Whishaw have joined the film, which is said to be titled Skyfall. Marlohe will be the Bond girl but Wishaw’s role is not yet known.
Bond 23, or Skyfall, or whatever the title may end up being, will be directed by Sam Mendes and will star Daniel Craig as 007, Javier Bardem in the role of a villain, Ralph Fiennes in what is being described as a secretive role, Judi Dench as M, Rory Kinnear as her assistant and Noami Harris as Moneypenny.
It has also been rumoured thta Adele will be singing the title track for the film, after she revealed that she was going into the studio to record a “theme” later this year. With an A-list director and cast, and possibly one of the biggest singing sensations on the planet singing the title track, Bond 23 is shaping up to be the best one yet.
Bond 23 is scheduled to open on November 9th, 2012.
