No Post-Credits Scenes Were Shown At The Avengers: Endgame Premiere

Though Avengers: Endgame is still a few days away from release, it’s in the nature of the Marvel fan to keep asking, “What’s next?” And so, one of the biggest questions around the upcoming flick is what to expect from the film’s post-credits. But while the Avengers: Infinity War sequel finally had its world premiere last night in Los Angeles, it seems that attendees at the event are in no position to share the details.

According to Brandon Davis from ComicBook.com, the film’s credits were cut short for a cast speech, meaning we still don’t have confirmation if the movie even has any post-credits scenes. That being said, it was reported last week that the credits start rolling at the 2:48:56 mark. This leaves the flick with an extra 12 minutes and 2 seconds, which sounds like more than enough time for a last-minute tease or two, while still giving project’s many, many cast and crew members their due.

Either way, we should know very soon if the film actually has any post-credit sequences, since the feature’s first screenings in China are scheduled to begin at 12pm EST today.

As for what we might see in these post-credits, one obvious guess would be a tease for Spider-Man: Far From Home, which comes out this July, and according to producer Amy Pascal, “will start a few minutes after Avengers 4 wraps as a story.” Beyond that, Marvel also has Black Widow and The Eternals dropping in the next year or so, as well as a series of Disney Plus shows.

In any case, it sounds like Marvel is still keeping their cards close to their chest, but all will be revealed when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.
