If you’re a fan of both Avengers: Endgame and Game of Thrones, make sure you have a mop handy this weekend, because your head just might explode.
The Battle of Winterfell is happening Sunday night, and the battle for the universe is going down Friday, and fans…well, they aren’t fully prepared. How can you be, though? I don’t think the world of nerds has seen so many fictitious deaths happen in one day since The Lord of the Rings. Yes, those were fake people. No, stop arguing.
Personally, I could’ve handled one or the other. Jon dying for Dany. Cap dying for Rocket. Ant-Man making the ultimate sacrifice. But all of them both potentially buying the farm in the same weekend? This is not going to end well for anyone, on both sides of the screen.
If millions of people didn’t have to go to work Monday morning and spend all day talking about both battles, there would be massive amounts of sick time used that day. Since misery loves company though, here are some of your fellow fans lamenting on Twitter about this upcoming cry-fest.

Of course, fan reactions to Game of Thrones have been steadily pouring out on Twitter ever since the season started last Sunday, and it seems a lot of them have to do with sex. That look on Jon’s face when he found out he was having relations with his aunt, for one, while people also freaked a little when Arya finally gave her v-card to (or did she throw it at) Gendry. And there’ll no doubt be plenty of the flipping of sh*t when the bodies start piling up this weekend.
Speaking of which, the final season of Game of Thrones returns this Sunday with episode 3, while Avengers: Endgame hits theaters this Friday. Suffice it to say, it’s about to be a very, very good weekend.
