Another day, another round of Avengers: Endgame promo art. This time, we bring you a pair of images that tease the core line-up of heroes in this month’s release.
Aside from the inclusion of Thanos in the first poster, each artwork gives us the same combination of characters, those being Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Hulk, Thor, Rocket, Nebula, Ant-Man, War Machine and Captain Marvel. While previously shared images have also confirmed a few more heroes entering the fray – including Valkyrie, Wong, Okoye and even Pepper Potts in her new Rescue armor – it certainly looks like these eleven stars will be the film’s main players. Most of them even showed up in the Endgame footage that recently screened to CinemaCon attendees, though it sounds like Ant-Man and Hawkeye were both no-shows.
By now, many fans will be well acquainted with the team’s latest designs, but one character who may be worth a second glance is Hulk. While Bruce Banner’s big green alter ego has yet to appear in any of the film’s promotional footage, the Jade Giant has now shown up in a few pieces of promo art. And in most cases, he can be seen wearing the same grey and purple spandex outfit.
What’s more, many fans have noticed that Hulk’s face is looking distinctly more human these days, which has fueled the theory that Banner is going to blend his two sides into the Professor Hulk persona from the comics. That would certainly be one way of resolving the inner conflict of Mark Ruffalo’s character, but we’ll find out what directors Anthony and Joe Russo really have in mind when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.
