Kaley Cuoco Shares New Photos From Harley Quinn Animated Series

Though the DC Universe streaming service is still very much in its infancy, it's managed to impress with a couple live action series, those being Titans and Doom Patrol. Not only that, but the first thirteen episodes of the animated darling that is Young Justice: Outsiders were also highly entertaining, and I must say I'm looking forward to seeing the next thirteen adventures when they drop this summer.

As much as I was geeked to see a Young Justice resurrection, it’s actually the mature-rated Harley Quinn animated series I’ve been looking forward to more. Being a big fan of Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner’s comic book run, it’s obvious that some generous inspiration will come from that material.

As luck would have it, Kaley Cuoco, the new voice of the Clown Princess of Crime herself, has shared a few images (found below) from the show on her Instagram page. From the look of it, these were taken during ADR sessions, as the actress confesses she indulges on Red Vines while in the booth.

From what I can tell, the first picture shows Harley before her breakup with the Joker, as she’s still wearing the classic jester costume. The other two reflect her modern appearance in the comics, for she’s rocking a tank top and sporting hair reminiscent of Margot Robbie in Suicide Squad. I also couldn’t help noticing that she’s covered in a mysterious brown substance in the third slide, forcing me to wonder if indeed her patented “scatapult” has carried over from the comics.

Aside from Cuoco, expect some other notable names to lend their pipes to the series. To list off a few, you can look forward to hearing Alan Tudyk as the Joker, Rahul Kohli as Scarecrow, Lake Bell as Poison Ivy, and Diedrich Bader returning to the role of Batman. Not bad, if you ask me.

Harley Quinn premieres this fall on DC Universe.
