Bane Arrives In New Gotham Photos

I don't know about you, but I was somewhat disappointed when Jeremiah Valeska didn't show up during last night's episode of Gotham. On the plus side, though, Ecco proved to be just as entertaining in his stead. Even if the producers are never allowed to use the name of "Harley Quinn," we all know what they were getting at.

Thankfully, the would be Clown Prince of Crime will be rearing his head in two weeks’ time at the latest, as Cameron Monaghan is listed among the confirmed guest stars for “Pena Dura.” Even so, he’s going to have competition because that’s when Shane West arrives as Eduardo Dorrance. Or, as you may know him from recent news stories, the guy who’ll go on to become Bane.

But before he dons a mask, it appears as though Dorrance will first arrive in the guise of a saint – only to later emerge as the scourge of Gotham City. For now, you can check out some images taken from his debut episode in the gallery below. And yes, he’s an old buddy of Jim Gordon’s.

Also of note is the return of Hugo Strange, who’ll eventually help in Bane’s transformation. But in this installment, however, it looks like we’ll learn more about whatever “work” he’s done on Ed Nygma/the Riddler in the time separating seasons 4 and 5.
