If you want to maintain a physique worthy of the God of Thunder, you have to put the work in, and in this new video from the Twitter account of Chris Hemsworth, the Avengers 4 star does just that while apparently feeling pretty good about himself.
The short clip shows Hemsworth hitting the bag at the gym, though the actor offers a slightly more elaborate name for this activity in the post’s accompanying caption:
“Kicking off the week with some good old fashioned ‘attack the bag cause it won’t attack you back and you’ll feel super tough’”

Of course, another benefit of attacking the bag is that it won’t kill half the universe if you fail to go for the head. After this oft-referenced error from Avengers: Infinity War, Thor will have a chance to redeem himself when the sequel comes out in just under six months, but it won’t be the only major franchise film that you’ll be able catch Hemsworth in next year.
The Australian actor will also be featuring in the new Men in Black reboot opposite his Thor: Ragnarok co-star Tessa Thompson. And based on the training video we saw in the lead-up to the sci-fi flick’s production, preparing for that film was less a case of “attack the bag” and more one of “attack the trainer.”
With filming now wrapped on Hemsworth’s next two big screen outings, it’s unclear if the actor is readying himself for another role or simply trying to stay in shape, but you can judge for yourself if all this working out was worth it when Avengers 4 comes out on May 3rd, 2019, followed by the new Men in Black on June 14th.
