Fans Demand Marvel Release The Captain Marvel Trailer In Hilarious New Video

Unfortunately, the eight-month-long wait for Captain Marvel is made all the more unbearable without a trailer to tide us over, but thankfully, an overzealous fanboy has taken it upon himself to make the delay slightly more tolerable.

After a “short promo” for the pic was rumored to be working through the “Disney marketing machine,” and taking aim at San Diego Comic-Con, MCU head honcho Kevin Feige cleared the air recently, confirming: “I think there’s still a few months on it.”

The latest intel on the matter is that we can expect to see footage of Carol Danvers sometime in October, which would be in line with Feige’s statement. What’s more, given the first trailer for Avengers 4 is expected to arrive in November, the studio definitely doesn’t want to overshadow the debut of anything Captain Marvel, so, an early Autumn release window would be the safest bet.

Alas, that’ll mean we’re still over a month removed from any sort of propaganda, but Kirk Deveyck and his crew are doing their darnedest to convince the Disney subsidiary to release the trailer now. In the roughly two and a half minute video below, the YouTuber – alongside his crew – can be seen pleading with the studio to unleash the first trailer for Captain Marvel in a hilarious, if not repetitive rap.

It should be noted this isn’t even the first time the channel has issued a statement to Marvel in the form of a music video. Last year, Deveyck asked the studio to speed up the release of the Avengers: Infinity War trailer, in equally humorous measure.

Circling back to Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s flick, though, which is scheduled for release on March 8th, 2019, Captain Marvel – starring Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, and Lee Pace – is the next Marvel IP in line for a theatrical run, and as soon as we learn more about when to expect the first trailer, we’ll be sure to let you know.
