Rob Zombie’s at it again.
After dropping a first look at the teaser trailer for his highly anticipated sequel to The Devil’s Rejects, 3 From Hell, the other week, the director continues to make the wait easier on fans by giving them juicy glimpses of the film. The latest comes in the form of new photo from the threequel, which he’s once again shared on his always active Instagram page.
Embedded in the gallery down below, we see Baby and Otis surrounded by reporters as they head to court, presumably to stand trial for all their heinous crimes. The whereabouts of Captain Spaulding are unknown, and we still have no explanation as for how these characters are still alive in the first place given the bloody climax of The Devil’s Rejects, but we’re certainly happy that Zombie’s continuing to give us so many sneak peeks at the film.
Plot-wise, we still don’t know much at all about what the director’s got planned for his trilogy closer, but at the rate he’s been sharing updates on his Instagram page, we should find out soon enough. Until then, though, fans can rest easy knowing that the Firefly clan is back on action and will be on our screens once again in no time at all.
Though an official release date has yet to be announced, we expect Three From Hell to hit theaters around mid-2019. And when it does, star Bill Moseley has assured us that our “mindsies are gonna be big time blown.” That’s a lofty promise, but we’re confident that Zombie can deliver and as soon as more teaser material emerges from his always interesting Instagram account, we’ll be sure to let you know.
