We’re now about a month and a half away from the release of Kingsman: The Golden Circlewhich means the promotional engine for the movie is in full swing. Already we’ve seen two full trailers and a host of meta character posters, and today, we’ve received a fun new TV spot to help whet our appetite.

While a lot of the footage here has been seen before – Julianne Moore’s “say goodbye to the Kingsman” line, Eggsy’s London taxi cab fight, the ski lift scene – much of the preview is still fresh. It begins with Eggsy having dinner at the palace with the Swedish king and queen. Princess Tilde is also there – fans will remember that Eggsy had a, let’s say, intimate encounter with the royal family member at the end of the previous film, The Secret Service. By the looks of things, it doesn’t seem like Tilde’s parents will be bowled over by their daughter’s choice of boyfriend. Maybe they would be though if they knew that he’s saved the world?

The TV spot also reveals some awesome British-flavoured gadgets that James Bond’s Q would be proud to call his own. Eggsy has a machine gun masquerading as a suitcase and Harry Hart’s already souped-up umbrella has been upgraded with a new feature – the handle can now be fired out on a retractable cord like a grappling hook in order to incapacitate enemies and pinch their firearms.

The main thrust of the sequel, of course, will be the meeting of Eggsy, Galahad and Merlin, the only surviving Kingsman agents, with their American cousins, the Statesman – as played by Jeff Bridges, Channing Tatum, Halle Berry and Pedro Pascal. Can they work together to defeat Julianne Moore’s Poppy, the latest villain with ambitions of world domination? We’ll have to see when Kingsman: The Golden Circle lands in cinemas on September 22nd.
