Death Blooms In The Flash Extended Promo

Now that Cisco has pretty much gone full Vibe, the spotlight shifts back to Barry Allen in next week’s episode of The Flash. Titled “Untouchable,” which we swear isn’t the name of an upcoming hip hop album recorded by the Scarlet Speedster, this chapter will see the S.T.A.R. Labs crew being forced to deal with a man capable of rapidly decomposing people with but a simple touch. Needless to say, this has to be one of their most nightmarish nemeses yet.

Viewers will also want to pay attention to the ongoing situation involving Iris West. It became apparent in last night’s episode, “Dead or Alive,” that she believes herself to be un-killable in the present just because she’s foretold to be murdered by Savitar four months from now.

But, if we’re to learn anything from the footage provided by the extended trailer, she’s in for a rude awakening next week when she seemingly falls victim to Clive Yorkin’s touch. Hopefully this leads to her being more cautious as time goes on.

For more information, be sure to check out the official synopsis below:

THE TOUCH OF DEATH – Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work together to bring down Clive Yorkin (guest star Matthew Kevin Anderson), a criminal meta-human who is methodically killing people by causing them to decompose at an accelerated rate. Joe (Jesse L. Martin) becomes his next target but it’s Iris (Candice Patton) who is caught in the crossfire. The Flash mentors Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) and begins to elevate the newer speedster’s training to another level.

The Flash airs on Tuesday nights on The CW.
