Building on the momentum from this week’s jaw-dropping trailer reveal (watch it here), there’s also mention of a new Injustice 2 announcement coming on Tuesday, January 24. Exactly what that showcase entails is up for question, but NetherRealm’s head honcho Ed Boon did tease the fighter’s upcoming beta test before it was officially confirmed. Our advice? Keep your peepers peeled on Boon’s Twitter feed over the coming days. For reference, the picture below features letters from the Greek alphabet with the word ‘beta’ missing.

Expect friends to become enemies – and vice versa – when Injustice 2 touches down for PS4 and Xbox One on May 16 in North America – those in Europe can expect the superhero sequel to debut on May 19. Two Collector’s Editions are also on the way, which tease the brawler’s string of post-launch content.
