Next Justice League Trailer Probably Coming This Spring

2017 is set to be the year that the DC Extended Universe gets back on track. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad were both met with less than enthusiastic reviews and now, the company is making some serious moves to right the ship. Already it looks like the dark, grim and far too serious tone found in Snyder's earlier DCEU entries is gone for Justice League, and the bright color palette of Wonder Woman suggests that it'll be a lot easier on the eyes and more enjoyable to look at.

It’s really these two films that will make or break DC’s cinematic universe, too, as they both represent hugely important moments for the studio. The former is essentially what the entire franchise has been building to, while the latter is the first proper big screen, solo outing for the iconic hero. As such, there’s a lot riding on Wonder Woman and Justice League. Thankfully, then, they both look promising so far. Although, with Snyder’s team-up flick now under a year away, you’d think we’d be seeing more of it at this point, but that hasn’t been the case.

A new image was debuted by Entertainment Weekly last month, and a trailer was rumored to arrive before the end of 2016, but that didn’t happen. Now, we’re hearing that the next bit of footage will be with us in the spring. That’s according to El Mayimbe, who’s right as often as he is wrong with his scoops. As such, take this with a grain of salt:

No confirmation from the studio just yet, but if you think about it, it’d make sense to drop the next trailer around then. For one, the film opens in November, so a new trailer arriving in the spring would be fairly conventional as far as marketing campaigns for blockbusters go, with one final preview presumably debuting a few months after that. But more importantly, Comic-Con is in July and with Justice League said to have a big presence there this year, dropping a trailer shortly before the convention begins would certainly help amp up the excitement and hype.

With that November 17th release date not too far off now, we’re bound to start seeing more from the promotional campaign quite soon. Whether it’s in the spring or a bit before, you can rest assured that Warner Bros. will no doubt have plenty of material for us to feast on over the coming months.
