UK Blu-Ray Cover Art And Release Date For Marvel’s Doctor Strange Revealed

Doctor Strange has earned over $650 million worldwide, making it one of Marvel's most successful movies to date. Considering the fact that the Sorcerer Supreme is a B-List character at best, that's an impressive feat, though the fact that the studio still hasn't announced a sequel is most definitely a surprise.

It’s no doubt coming though, and with Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange set to appear in both Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War over the next few years, it’s not as if we’re going to have to wait long before seeing more of the now fan-favourite character back on the big screen. Before then though, we can look forward to him reaching DVD and Blu-ray.

The Marvel UK Twitter account has revealed today that Doctor Strange will be released on March 6th, 2017, so expect it to reach the US roughly around the same time. Based on past experience, it will either be a few weeks before or after that date.

A provisional Bu-ray cover has also been revealed, but it’s just one of the movie’s posters rather than anything new. There’s a chance this could change and it will almost certainly be different in the US, but what’s more interesting is what’s on the disc. Unfortunately, no details have been revealed about Doctor Strange‘s special features or deleted scenes as of yet, but be sure to stay tuned for more.
