Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theatres this July, but we’ve still seen absolutely nothing in the way of official promotional material for the film. Set pics have been hitting the web at the furious rate over the last few months, but those aside, we haven’t really had much. That’s all about to change though, as the very first trailer will be with us in December when it arrives attached to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
We likely won’t get anything in the way of official photos or footage until then, but we do have a new poster to share with you today which was spotted at a theatre over the weekend. You can check it out below, but we’ll tell you now that it doesn’t reveal anything at all about Jon Watts’ upcoming film – and that’s probably what Marvel wants at this stage.
[zergpaid]The studio is no doubt saving everything for the first trailer, which is going to arrive with insurmountable levels of hype surrounding it. This was likely Marvel’s strategy all along, and it seems to have worked; the less you give people from a film the more excitement there is surrounding that first footage reveal.
With only a few more weeks left to go until Rogue One hits theatres, the wait is almost over, and as we count down the days until we get our first proper look at Spidey in his new reboot (one which will come packing a dance scene), we’ll continue to scour the internet for bits and pieces like this to help tide us over.
Spider-Man: Homecoming will arrive in theatres on July 7th, 2017. Check out the new poster below and stay tuned for the first trailer, as we’ll have it for you as soon as it’s available.
