The work of photographer Clay Enos has become synonymous with the DC Extended Universe. Over the past few years, he’s provided us with first looks at movies like Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, Justice League and Suicide Squad, and it’s characters from the latter who are highlighted in the gallery above.
What we have here are some great shots of the villains who made up Task Force X, though Jared Leto’s Joker is unfortunately absent. You have to believe that more than just the one photo was taken of the Clown Prince of Crime, though with so much of the actor’s performance left on the cutting room floor, who knows if we’ll ever get to see them. After all, the Extended Cut of Suicide Squad is now available on Digital HD, but only features a couple of extra minutes of Mr. J.
What lies in store for the villains in the gallery above remains to be seen, especially as the future of the Suicide Squad franchise is now in doubt after the mixed response to the first instalment. Yes, it was a box office hit, but you have to believe that Warner Bros. is re-thinking their approach to the property given the way fans and critics alike responded to the movie.
