Westworld Episode 6 Trailer Teases “The Adversary” And The Weeks To Come

The latest promo for HBO's Westworld series looks to the weeks ahead with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.

Following the premiere of last night’s “Contrapasso,” Westworld has barrelled past the halfway point in its inaugural season, and as HBO slowly begins to ramp up the tension in anticipation of the finale – a finale that will floor us all, apparently – an extended promo has found its way online that looks to the weeks ahead with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.

Featuring Bernard Lowe (Jeffrey Wright), Maeve (Thandie Newton) and Robert Ford himself (Anthony Hopkins), much of the footage appears to be pulled from “The Adversary,” the sixth episode of Westworld that’s expected to arrive on Sunday, November 6. Unless you’re fully caught up to date with Westworld, bookmark this page and check back at a later date to negate the risk of spoilers.

Still with us? Now that she’s twigged on to the park’s artificial nature, Newton’s steely Host Maeve is seen making some demands with the park’s engineers, while Lowe’s programmer expresses his concern to Ford after some technical hiccups. Hopkins’ wise old man has problems of his own to attend to, however, and even the episode’s title indicates that someone is working to usurp control of the park, his most prized creation. Toss in the ongoing hunt of that elusive maze, one that’s largely stemmed from the Man in Black (Ed Harris), and “The Adversary” is shaping up to be another strong episode all round.

Expect Westworld to continue on Sunday, November 6.
