As if EA didn’t already have enough on its plate this Holiday season with the likes of Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1, the publisher seemingly has plans to cram a third shooter into the busy November month, although this one isn’t exactly a new release.
As spotted by VideoGamer, a new product page for a Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition has appeared over on Amazon, with the product description listing the Outer Rim, Bespin and Death Star DLC add-ons as among its contents, as well as the upcoming Rogue One: Scarif tie-in expansion.
What’s more, bonus items originally obtained as part of the game’s Deluxe Edition, the DL-44 blaster and “exclusive emotes” will also be included.
EA has yet to officially announce the Ultimate Edition, but Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the re-release are listed by the online retailer. There’s no word on whether PC players will be getting a similar offer.
Assuming the date is accurate, North American residents can pick up the re-release on November 18 for $39.99 in digital or physical formats. If you’re in the UK, you’ll only be able to buy digital, EA has confirmed to VideoGamer.
With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story due to hit cinemas in December, it’s hardly surprising that EA is looking to capitalize on the anticipation for that film by re-releasing Star Wars Battlefront, especially as the shooter is set to get a tie-in DLC in the coming months.
